THE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Merdeka means independence, and Belajar means to study. Merdeka Belajar means that every youth has the freedom to learn. The Ministry of Education and Culture Indonesia has launched reforms to the Indonesian education system through the Merdeka Belajar. The aim is to explore the tremendous potential of school teachers and students and independently improve the quality of learning.
The Independent Learning curriculum is a curriculum with various intra-curricular learning, where the content presented to students will be more optimal with the aim that students can have enough time to explore concepts and strengthen competence.
By supporting the recent education program of the national Education system, Gawirea has launched the Net Zero Hero Program. Net Zero Hero is a program that focuses on education on renewable energy and climate change. This learning process is divided into the online lectures process and offline activities in the form of study visits to locations that have implemented renewable energy and direct discussions with experienced professionals and professors.
The conduction of the program may increase the Indonesia Youth Awareness to be more care about the environment also the social condition of the people. For the long-term impact, it can influence the youth to create some communities which leads to taking care of the energy and climate change issues by providing some solutions, creating some actions, and influencing the local government to create some policies.
